For it's 20th release Pentagonik is proud to present Patrick di Stefano's Beautiful Grotesque EP. Known from such netlabels as the Italian tonimusic, Patrick has now come up with four minimally minded, straight to the floor tracks and shows us what his recent sound has been up to. Forming the base of his tracks are rhythmically complex chopped beats along with a variety of diverse influences, from the dry, subtle sprinkles of acid in "Fando y Lis" to the captivating reverb'ed minmal hooks in "Alchemical Growth" or "Desejos", the last track that finishes us up with a soporiphic melody for the early hours.
